I could drop the opacity value even higher if I wanted to fade her even more into the background. I’m going to cut it down to 30%.
We can see 30% of the top image and 70% of the bottom image at 30% opacity, which creates a wonderful blending effect. For your photos, you’ll need to alter the opacity value as needed.

The outcomes of the various mix styles are entirely dependent on your images. In my situation, the Soft Light mix setting produces the best results.
